Bracket is a 4 piece from the SF bay area originally signed to Caroline records (Ben Folds 5's first label,) who were featured on early Fat Wreck Chords compilations, and play a poppy and accessible post punk sound with a cerebral edge, thier tracks were standouts on the Fat Wreck Chords comps and after Caroline refused to let them put out a 7" they officially signed with Fat. After 3 studio albums and 1 live album released by Fat, they left cause Fat Mike wasn´t quite happy with the new more pop/rock direction of the new album.
